How does hair reduction work?
The diagram below shows a cross section of the layers of skin with the hair and its placement in the skins structure. IPL light penetrates the skin and generates heat in the target area. The hair structure degrades after being exposed to IPL light. The filter applied to the IPL light in this would typically be 640 nm – 1200 nm.
