IPL Systems Australia only sells ipl machines with a TGA registration
Australia’s booming laser and IPL treatment industry is being fuelled by cheap, ready-to-use machines from overseas.
IPL machines could be imported from overseas for as little as $8000. They are never registered, as required, by the Therapeutic Goods Administration, which regulates the supply of therapeutic and medical devices.
Because there is such intense competition, people are looking for very, very cheap machines and providing cheap treatments and promoting it for inappropriate treatments.
A recent survey of laser and IPL devices found that fewer than half were actually registered on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods, which lists equipment that can legally be imported, supplied or exported.

The illegal importation or supply of medical devices that are not registered attracts penalties of up to 12 months’ jail and an $110,000 fine for individuals and a $550,000 fine for companies.

MEDICAL CE CERTIFICATION

In Europe, medical devices require CE certification. Comprehensive documentation to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of the device is required to obtain medical CE certification.
A Medical CE can only be issued by approved authorities; these authorities are worldwide, independent, accredited organizations
The MediSyst hair removal and photo rejuvenation devices possess a Medical CE mark. Our devices were able to pass the stringent requirements of a Medical CE due to the high standards adhered to by the manufacturing company
For a company to produce a high quality product, they are required to adhere to the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards. The implementation of these strict rules provides a level of traceability for the IPL machines IPL Systems Australia sells. A high level of quality control is implemented on every component of our MediSyst devices throughout the manufacturing process, which is followed by an array of stringent tests.

The implementation of these rules does have an impact on the sale price, as IPL Systems Australia would rather provide a guarantee of the utmost in terms of quality.

After months of investigation, I recently purchased the B1++ IPL MediSyst machine through Patrick J. Holly.

This machine does everything that my salon needs to do.
Not only was Patrick extremely professional, the machine arrived quickly, and the training was fantastic.
In the first week of having the machine, I have already booked in successive treatments for Bikini lines, Underarms, Back and Chest, Rosacea and Pigmentation treatments. With Patrick”s training and an understanding of IPL, I feel completely confident, and the customers are thrilled that we have this to offer.
The machine is easy to use, has a very efficient cooling system, making the treatments comfortable.
Patrick supplied brochures for the salon and helped me with a pricing structure. His knowledge and service is excellent. The before and after photographs in the booklet provided, have been a great support to customers, to help them see what results are possible.

I am completely satisfied with IPL Australia’s professionalism, and the quality of their machines. I have no hesitation in recommending IPL Systems Australia to other salons, in fact I already have, and I have had my machine for only 2 weeks!

Acne occurs when tiny oil glands in the skin are over active, typically dead skin cells block the top of the skin pore and the oil builds up. The blocked pore becomes the perfect breeding environment for bacteria and the pore becomes infected and inflamed.

IPL light targets the acne (the heat generated by the light in this case not only degrades the oil gland but also destroys the bacteria). A typical filter used would be a broad filter of 420 nm – 1200 nm.

When using IPL we consider the condition we are treating, or trying to eradicate (whether this is unwanted hair, unwanted pigmentation, broken capillaries etc.), as the target. We apply filters to the light the IPL equipment is emitting (420 nm – 1200 nm) to reduce the wavelength range of the light.

For example if we use a filter with a range of 640 nm – 1200 nm it will block all light wavelengths 420 nm – 639 nm, letting through only 640 nm – 1200 nm. This particular filter is used when hair (the bulb or root at the base of the hair shaft) is the target. The reason we filter out certain wavelengths is because they have no effect on the target, so leaving them in has no benefit, we leave only the wavelengths that focus on the target.
